There is a sweet spot every fall when the leaves seem to change color overnight. Green becomes yellow, and yellow eventually falls away forever, only to be replaced by new green. Even when change is gradual, it can sometimes sneak up on us. I decided it wouldn’t sneak up on me this year.
In an attempt to capture this sweet moment when green becomes yellow in the trees (and green becomes yellow in my life), I took one photo a day for ten days, all from the same spot before 10am. It’s harder to capture this moment when life changes a little, but at least we can watch it happen in the trees. Also, this is a good reminder to everyone that it’s ok to fall… Sometimes, falling is pretty beautiful isn’t it? Enjoy.

Love picture #7!
Yes! The one sunny day all week… But I kind of loved the mist 🙂
Picture #9 really pops! Tavvy, I love coming back to your blog whenever I’m feeling a little stuck in a rut, because it inspires me to take a look around and fall in love with life all over again. Thank you for that.
That is one of the nicest comments I’ve ever gotten… Thank you Jackie!! And thank you for always coming back to TwT. This is the ultimate goal — to fall in love with life over and over again (as cheesy as it is!) 🙂 HUG!!
This is great! The photos are beautiful and it’s amazing to see just how quickly the leaves change. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thank you for reading, Dounia! Glad you found the blog. It is pretty amazing how quickly the leaves change completely, isn’t it?
